Weight Loss Tips: Ingredient Swaps

If you want to lose weight but wouldn’t want to totally change your diet, the best solution would be to change some of the ingredients in your cooked or prepared meals. By doing so, you’ll be able to cut out calories off your diet.

Here are good suggestions:

For Pancakes
Instead of adding butter and oil to all-purpose flour, use whole wheat flour instead.
Remove maple syrup and try raspberry sauce with fresh fruits.

For Chicken Salads and Sandwiches
Look for low fat mayonnaise and stopping buying the regular ones.
Whole wheat is the better option to croissants.
Add grapes or raisins for added flavor and nutrition

For Pasta
Take out cream cheese from the ingredients list and replace it with yogurt cheese.
Chopped broccoli and cauliflower can be added to tomato sauce instead of meat.

For Green Salad
Make sure you use non-fat cheese.
Minimize olive oil and add more vegetables.

For Spring Rolls
Use thin rice paper wrapper that can be eaten fresh. This way, you don’t have to cook it in oil.
Don’t use meat. Chop cooked veggies and use that for stuffing instead.

  2. Although this one will minimise the taste of my favourite food but however these are sounding great and I think this will reduce extra layer of fat on my body as well.

  3. This will be really a nice way to consume your favourite food. and you wont gain the weight as well. So you can enjoy the life without going blank to them.

    I saw many people who starts dieting and left everything and just living life on air, I think they are giving punishment to themselves.

  5. Lets see I will give this advice to my cousin sister and if she will be able to adopt this one or not. As if you will withdraw the real taste from a food than there is no benefit to eat them and this is also happening here.

    But however if this one will provide a break to her gaining weight than certainly I would love to suggest her.

  6. If you want to do dieting and very hard to start than I think this is the nice way to start. As you do not have to worry about leaving anything. You just have to withdraw those ingredients which contribute towards fat.
